Die Kuenstlerin

The (lady) artist, it should say. The title should also have an u-umlaut, but in the past, the title box wouldn't let me put it in. Through my German class I've learned that ue can substitute for the u-umlaut. Anyway. I've combined a few symbolisms here. In a way, they define my own personal struggles. On the one hand, there is the woman, who composes the foreground, she represents the self, and she wears a Triquetra, one of my favourite religious symbols. The Triquetra here is meant to represent a balance of the three forces in the background. Standing on top of the skyscrapers are a Crucifix, a Hammar and a sattelite dish. Those three represent the struggles in my own life, my twain of Christianity and Heathenry, and the omnipresent threat of technological nihilism looming above them all. Yes, there's a little story behind all my pictures, just seems I thought this one through a little more than some of the others.
